Bio & CV

Sean Pollock (he/they) is a bicoastal Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary writer, director, creative producer, designer, teaching artist, and sometimes performer from Mountain Lakes, NJ. As a child performer, he appeared in the touring production of The New Kid, including its Off-Broadway production at the York Theatre. As a teenager, he attended French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts in Upstate NY. He appeared in many other local plays and musicals in the tri-state area and Research Triangle Park area.

They are one of the founders and current Artistic Director of Unattended Baggage. He also has associate/assistant directed at A.R.T NY, Theater For The New City, and The O’Neil Theatre.

They also founded the Macabre Theatre Ensemble at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY where they directed the U.S College Premiere of Carrie: The Musical (among other credits). They’ve also worked for Soho Playhouse, The York Theater Company, The Actors Temple, Playlight Theatre Company, The Dirty Blondes Theatre Company, NewMusicalTheatre.com, Misfits For Democracy, LIU Brooklyn TV Writers Studio, Shingetsu News Agency, & the Vancouver International Film Festival.

In their spare time, they can be found collaging, collecting limited edition candies and sodas, taking pictures on disposable cameras, and embarking on random sidequests.
