A Summer of Stuff!

Hi guys! My website got a makeover by the incredibly talented Kristin Dawn-Dumas. Thanks, Kristin! This past weekend, I was the Artistic Director for Greed Play with After-School Special on Wall Street. Here’s one of my favorite moments.

This month I’ve been working on Co-Directing I’m Smiling Because I’m Uncomfortable with Hana Mastrogiacomo, a site-specific autobiographical piece starring and written by Emma Howard, and Executive Produced by Alyssa Berdie, premiering September 8th!

I’m currently about to embark on my second (!) Director’s Lab this summer (in June I did Director’s Lab North in Canada), Director’s Lab Chicago from the 19-25! I’m so excited and grateful for this experience.

I have some other things cookin’ but this is all I can announce for now… here’s some other fun updates:

Things I Have Been Reading This Summer: The Motherfucker With The Hat by Stephen Allen Girgis, Fuddy Meers by David Lindsay-Abaire, My Name Is Rachel Corrie by Rachel Corrie/Alan Rickman/Katharine Viner, This Is A Play/Never Swim Alone by Daniel Macivor, The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo by Amy Schumer, Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari, Nickel and Dimed by Joan Holden (based on the book by Barbara Ehrenreich), Cock by Mike Bartlett, Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You/The Actor’s Nightmare by Christopher Durang, Communicating Doors by Alan Ayckbourn, The Zoo Story/The American Dream by Edward Albee, Corpus Christi by Terrence McNally, Shockaholic by Carrie Fischer

Places I’ve Been This Summer Outside of NYC: Toronto, Ithaca NY, Bellport NY, Staley NC, Amelia Island, Atlantic City and soon, Chicago!

Shows I’ve seen lately: The Untold Yippie Project, Really Rosie at Encores, Indecent. All were incredible.

Thanks so much for checking out my new site. I have to clean my apartment now. Have any thoughts? Questions? Concerns? Wanna send me pictures of dogs, or mail me some vegetarian soup? Email me here!
