I'm Smiling Because We've Got a Show!
My show closes this weekend! Its called I’m Smiling Because I’m Uncomfortable and I’m co-directing it with Hana Mastrogiacomo, it’s performed/written by Emma Howard and Executive Produced by Alyssa Berdie in people’s kitchens with the address delivered to ticket holders 24 hours in advance. We got a killer review in No Proscenium. Check it out! We close on Sunday 9/17 at 4pm. Come and catch it while you can!
On an unrelated note I recently read The Last Days Of Judas Iscariot by Stephen Allen Girgis, The Flick by Annie Baker, Angels in America (Parts 1 and 2) by Tony Kushner (sidenote: I read this for the FIRST TIME. Like where have I been?! It was incredible), Two Gentlemen of Verona by Shakespeare (again...for the first time. Though I saw the Galt MacDermott musical version at summer camp once. Or maybe that was Boys From Syracuse. They did both a few times, I think. Who knows?)
